Patriots colocan a Greg Van Roten en la lista de lesionados

Patriots Place Greg Van Roten on Injured Reserve

The New England Patriots placed offensive guard Greg Van Roten on injured reserve, creating another challenge for an offensive line that has dealt with several injuries early in the season.

Van Roten suffered the injury during New England's Week 3 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The veteran had started the game at right guard.

Another setback for the offensive line

Van Roten, 36, appeared in all three games for the Patriots this season and started against Jacksonville. His experience was especially valuable for an offensive line that had already lost Mike Onwenu to injury.

The veteran has played 147 regular-season games in his career, including 106 starts, with experience at right guard, left guard and center.

New England must make another adjustment

Van Roten's injury forces the Patriots to make another change up front before their Week 4 road matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

New England also released linebacker Riley Wilson from its practice squad as part of the corresponding roster moves.
