Cowboys refuerzan su ataque terrestre con Tyler Goodson

Cowboys Add Running Back Tyler Goodson to Active Roster

The Dallas Cowboys have made another move to strengthen their running back group, signing Tyler Goodson from the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad.

Dallas added Goodson after losing Malik Davis to a season-ending hip injury, creating an immediate need for additional depth in the backfield.

Tyler Goodson gets a new opportunity

Goodson entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He began his professional career with Green Bay and later spent time with Indianapolis before joining Atlanta.

Goodson impressed during the Falcons' preseason and entered the regular season as one of the team's depth running backs. Dallas now believes his skill set can help provide another option behind its primary backs.

Dallas continues reshaping its backfield

The move comes after the Cowboys struggled to get consistent production from their backup running backs during the season opener.

Goodson joins a group that also includes Emari Demercado and Israel Abanikanda. The Cowboys will now have another player capable of competing for offensive snaps as the season progresses.

Goodson will have to get up to speed quickly, with Dallas preparing to host the Washington Commanders in a key NFC East matchup during Week 2.
