Brian Flores busca una nueva oportunidad como entrenador en jefe de la NFL

Brian Flores seeks a new opportunity as an NFL head coach

Brian Flores, the current defensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings and of Honduran descent, expressed his desire to return to the role of head coach in the NFL. "There are only 32 of these jobs, and I would definitely like to be a head coach again," Flores said on The Adam Schefter Podcast.

Under his leadership, the Vikings defense has ranked as the best in the league according to the DVOA index, cementing Flores as one of the most prominent assistants this season. However, his time as coach of the Miami Dolphins (2019-2021) continues to be a topic of debate. Following his controversial firing, Flores filed a lawsuit against the NFL and several teams, alleging discrimination in interview and firing processes.

Despite the controversies, Flores considers his experience in Miami to be positive. "I learned a lot that has made me a better coach today," he said.

Since his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2022, he has not received offers for interviews as a head coach. However, Flores remains hopeful of receiving an opportunity and applying what he learned in his career. "I would love to do it again," he concluded.
