Las Vegas Raiders open the 2026 season at home for the first time since 2021 and begin a new era under head coach Klint Kubiak, who will make his NFL head-coaching debut.
Kirk Cousins will start at quarterback for Las Vegas and will be tasked with stabilizing an offense that ranked last in the NFL in total yards during the 2025 season. The return of offensive tackle Kolton Miller is also significant after his absence contributed to major problems along the offensive line last year.
Ashton Jeanty will be an important part of the Raiders' rushing attack, while Maxx Crosby remains the centerpiece of a defense that will look to set the tone from the opening game.
Miami Dolphins also begin a new era under head coach Jeff Hafley. Malik Willis will start at quarterback after joining the team during the offseason and will be asked to lead a dramatically reshaped offense.
