The Washington Commanders suffered a late setback before their London matchup against the Indianapolis Colts: Terry McLaurin was officially ruled out because of a hamstring injury.
McLaurin first appeared on the injury report Friday after being limited in practice. Washington ultimately made the decision to keep him inactive for the Week 4 game.
A major loss for Washington
McLaurin is one of the Commanders' most important offensive weapons, and his absence creates another challenge for a team that will also be without Jayden Daniels because of his elbow injury.
Through the first three games of the season, McLaurin had recorded 10 receptions for 141 yards and one touchdown.
Marcus Mariota has fewer weapons
With both Daniels and McLaurin unavailable, Marcus Mariota will once again lead the Washington offense. The veteran quarterback guided the Commanders to a victory over Seattle in Week 3.
Washington will also be without Rachaad White and Sam Cosmi, adding to the list of unavailable starters for the international matchup against Indianapolis.
