Nico Collins en duda para Texans vs. Bengals por lesión en el muslo

Nico Collins Questionable for Texans vs. Bengals With Thigh Injury

The Houston Texans have a major injury concern heading into Week 2 after wide receiver Nico Collins was limited in practice with a thigh injury.

Collins experienced the issue during preparation for Sunday's matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. Houston is continuing to evaluate the receiver, making his availability one of the biggest storylines leading into the game.

Collins was productive in Week 1

The potential absence would be significant for the Texans because Collins was one of the team's most productive offensive players in the season opener.

Against the Buffalo Bills, Collins finished with seven receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown, once again establishing himself as one of quarterback C.J. Stroud's most important targets.

Texans could turn to Kayshon Boutte

Houston already has a depth concern at wide receiver after losing Jayden Higgins to a season-ending knee injury.

If Collins is unable to play, Kayshon Boutte could see a significant increase in offensive snaps and targets, while tight end Dalton Schultz could also become more involved in the passing game.

The Texans will host the Bengals on Sunday, September 20, and Collins' status will continue to be monitored before the team makes its final decision.
