Nick Chubb Officially Retires From NFL as a Browns Legend

Nick Chubb has officially ended his NFL career and returned to Cleveland to retire as a member of the Cleveland Browns.

The running back signed a one-day contract with the organization on Friday, September 25, closing a seven-season chapter with the Browns and cementing his place in franchise history.

Chubb returns to Cleveland

Chubb was selected by Cleveland in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft and spent seven seasons with the team. He later played one season with the Houston Texans before announcing his retirement.

He finished his NFL career with 7,349 rushing yards, 1,109 receiving yards and 59 total touchdowns in 100 games.

A historic Browns career

With Cleveland, Chubb ranks third in franchise history in rushing yards and recorded 51 rushing touchdowns. He also had 30 games with at least 100 rushing yards, the second-most in Browns history.

The four-time Pro Bowl running back chose to close his career by returning to the place where his NFL journey began, officially becoming a Brown for life.
