Jacksonville Jaguars enter the 2026 season with significant expectations after finishing 2025 with a 13-4 record and winning the AFC South. Head coach Liam Coen will look to build on that breakthrough season as Jacksonville aims to remain one of the AFC's top teams.
Trevor Lawrence remains the centerpiece of the Jaguars offense. During the 2025 regular season, Lawrence completed 341 of 560 passes for 4,007 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also added 359 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns.
Jacksonville's defense was another major reason for the team's success last season. The Jaguars ranked first in the NFL in rushing defense and finished among the league leaders in takeaways. Maintaining that defensive production will be one of the team's priorities in Week 1.
Cleveland Browns enter the season after a 5-12 campaign and begin a new era under head coach Todd Monken. Deshaun Watson returns as the team's starting quarterback after a lengthy absence, giving the Browns an immediate storyline to follow.
Cleveland also revamped its offensive line and added rookie wide receivers Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion to a receiving group that includes veterans such as Jerry Jeudy and Tylan Wallace.
