On the Houston side, Stroud will have to operate without Collins while facing a Cincinnati defensive front strengthened by additions such as Dexter Lawrence II and Jonathan Allen. Cincinnati's ability to pressure Stroud could be particularly important after the Houston quarterback was sacked three times against Buffalo.
The running games could also shape the matchup. Montgomery had 23 total touches and scored three touchdowns in Week 1, while Brown remains an important part of Cincinnati's offensive balance. Establishing the run could affect how often both quarterbacks face obvious passing situations.
Houston will also rely on Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter to generate pressure on Burrow. Cincinnati's defensive front, meanwhile, has added experience and depth with Lawrence and Allen joining the unit.
Injuries to know
