DeVonta Smith se perderá varios partidos con los Eagles por lesión de hamstring

DeVonta Smith Expected to Miss Multiple Games With Hamstring Injury

The Philadelphia Eagles are facing a significant offensive setback after DeVonta Smith was ruled out for multiple games with a hamstring injury.

Smith has already been ruled out for the Eagles' Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams after missing every practice during the week. The injury had been bothering him since training camp and could keep him sidelined for two to three games.

A major loss for Jalen Hurts

Smith had been productive through the opening weeks of the season. He recorded 19 receptions for 235 yards and one touchdown through three games, once again establishing himself as one of Jalen Hurts' top weapons.

His absence comes on top of the loss of Marquise Brown, who is also unavailable against the Rams because of an ankle injury.

Eagles must spread the workload

With Smith sidelined, Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon are expected to take on larger roles in the passing game. Philadelphia will also need to find new ways to create production around Hurts.

The Eagles enter the matchup against Los Angeles after a heavy loss to Chicago in Week 3, making Smith's absence another challenge for an offense searching for consistency.
