The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a one-year contract extension with wide receiver Ryan Flournoy, securing the future of one of the young pieces in their offense.
The extension is worth up to $6 million and keeps Flournoy under contract with Dallas beyond the 2026 season.
Flournoy earned a bigger role
The Cowboys selected Flournoy in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, and he initially began his professional career working from the practice squad.
He earned a spot on the active roster last season and finished with 40 receptions for 475 yards and four touchdowns, establishing himself as an important option in Dallas' receiving corps.
A chance to keep developing
Flournoy is expected to have an important role in the Cowboys' offense this season. The extension also represents a commitment to a player who has steadily earned more responsibility since entering the NFL.
