We were fortunate to have a week off afterward," Nix said, highlighting the support of the medical team.
A remarkable season despite adversity
In the game against the Browns, Nix threw for 294 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, including a 93-yard touchdown pass to Marvin Mims Jr. in the third quarter.
Despite his injury, Nix completed the season without missing a game and set a Broncos rookie record with:
3,775 passing yards
29 touchdown passes
Thanks to his leadership, the Broncos managed to reach the postseason for the first time since 2015, consolidating Nix as a promise for the future of the franchise.
"It was annoying, but we all play with discomfort," concluded Nix, making clear his commitment and resilience in his first season as a professional.
