Tres equipos eliminados y sin posibilidades de Playoffs en la Semana 14 de la NFL

Three teams eliminated and without playoff chances in Week 14 of the NFL

With Week 14 of the 2024 NFL regular season underway, the race for the playoffs is red hot, but for some teams, the postseason dream has come to an end. So far, three franchises have been mathematically eliminated: the Las Vegas Raiders, the New England Patriots and the New York Giants.

The AFC Eliminators: Raiders and Patriots
Las Vegas Raiders
With a 2-10 record, the Raiders are facing one of their worst seasons in recent memory. Despite a mid-season coaching change with Antonio Pierce at the helm, the team failed to add a single victory in its division, the AFC West, one of the most competitive. Its offense has been ineffective, leaving them out of any possibility of a postseason.

New England Patriots
The Patriots, in the process of rebuilding, relied on their rookie quarterback, Drake Maye, who showed flashes of talent in his first season. However, the team has only managed a 3-10 record, not enough to even compete for a wild card berth. The lack of offensive and defensive consistency has been their biggest obstacle.

NFC Eliminator: New York Giants
New York Giants
The Giants are going through a year to forget. After cutting quarterback Daniel Jones, the team fell into a deep crisis that is reflected in their 2-10 record, the worst in the entire NFL. With an offense and defense among the worst in the league, the Giants are already poised to obtain the number one pick in the next Draft, hoping to rebuild their franchise.

The Big Picture
With three weeks left in the regular season, these teams are already thinking about the future. Meanwhile, the rest of the NFL is focused on securing their place in the Playoffs or improving their positions in the standings.

The final stretch promises intense emotions, but for the Raiders, Patriots and Giants, the 2024 campaign has come to an end sooner than expected.
