The NFL continues to expand its global presence and, for the 2025 season, has confirmed the largest number of international games in its history: seven official regular-season games, spread across five different countries.
This international schedule marks a historic step for the league, which seeks to consolidate its impact outside the United States and attract new audiences in key markets.
Confirmed locations include London, which will remain its traditional home with multiple games at Wembley and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium; Germany, where Munich and Frankfurt have established themselves as high-interest locations; and the highly anticipated NFL debut in Madrid, Spain, with the game between the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
Additionally, games are being added in Mexico, a destination that has demonstrated great passion for American football at the Estadio Azteca, and a special return to Brazil, following the success of the inaugural game in São Paulo.
Here are the seven international games in five countries for 2025.
- September 5: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil (Corinthians Arena).
- September 28: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland (Croke Park).
- October 5: Cleveland Browns vs. Minnesota Vikings in London, United Kingdom (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium).
- October 12: New York Jets vs. Denver Broncos in London, United Kingdom (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium).
- October 19: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Los Angeles Chargers in London, United Kingdom (Wembley Stadium).
- November 9: Indianapolis Colts vs. Atlanta Falcons in Berlin, Germany (Olympiastadion).
- November 16: Miami Dolphins vs. Washington Commanders in Madrid, Spain (Santiago Bernabéu)
With this move, the NFL not only breaks a record for international matches, but also reinforces its global growth strategy, aiming to ensure that millions of fans around the world experience the league in their own countries.
