The NFL announced that brothers Peyton and Eli Manning will be, for the third consecutive year, the coaches of the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC), respectively, for the 2025 Pro Bowl. The event will take place on February 2 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
Peter O'Reilly, executive vice president of international events for the NFL, celebrated the return of the brothers:"We are delighted that the Mannings are renewing their rivalry. The Pro Bowl brings together the best players in the NFL, allowing fans to enjoy their stars outside of the usual context."
Since 2023, the Pro Bowl has been transformed into a flag football duel, accompanied by a series of skills competitions, to avoid injuries after a long regular season. In the previous two editions, the Eli-led NFC has defeated Peyton's AFC, maintaining a friendly and entertaining rivalry.
"I love participating and watching Peyton complain about his losses," Eli joked. For his part, Peyton is confident of reversing the trend:"This year my AFC team will end Eli's lucky streak."
The Pro Bowl promises to be a fun-filled spectacle for fans and players alike.
